First of all, I wish to clarify a few things with the potential readers of this blog. The Pompous sounding title of the blog is not to be misconstrued as an endorsement of any royal family or lineage. I chose the title because, well................, it sounds pompous!!This is my first attempt at any sort of blog-writing and my sincere apologies to all readers who are about to lose their sleep due to my inept writing. I will try and maintain a policy of 'A Post A Day' but again, man has to bow down to the vagaries of time sometimes, but I will make sure that no regular reader is disappointed. I want to use this blog as a forum to express my views on all that is happening around us, so the topics on which I post may accordingly vary. There will be more about me and some interesting 'stuff' in my next post. Please feel free to comment.
